Management Accountant – Preston (Hybrid) £42,000 to £49,000 + Benefits
Our client is a large and highly recognisable name based in Preston and we are seeking to recruit to a newly created Management Accounting role. The role will be highly analytical and will join the financial planning and analysis team to assist with the production and analysis of the income budget and forecasts. Working with internal colleagues you will accurately provide the analysis and commentary to provide the financial information to support informed decision making.
The role will :
* Produce the annual and quarterly forecasts
* Provide accurate reporting packs including clear and accurate variance analysis
* Deliver income budgets and forecasts
* Develop budget and forecast Excel models
* Create and develop reporting outputs and flash forecast analysis
* Deliver multi-year modelling, the medium-term financial plan and accompanying analysis
The Person :
* You will possess very strong excel skills to develop forecasting models e.g. Pivot tables, xlookups, SUMIFS, Dynamic Arrays.
* Experience of developing an excel forecasting/budgeting model
* Strong communication skills
* Good organisational skills
* Part qualified
