Overview
A Maintenance Engineer position has become available within a business that supplies products into sectors such as marine, defence, agricultural, and general engineering. The business offers a full machining service, ISO 9001 and DNV approved, with rapid prototyping and reverse engineering capabilities, supplying technically challenging cast components across Europe.
Responsibilities
* Perform general repairs and ongoing servicing of machinery on-site.
* Diagnose and resolve faults as needed.
* Basic welding and fabrication (these skills can be further developed).
* Implement preventive and corrective maintenance.
* React promptly to any machine breakdowns, solving problems efficiently.
* Monitor and maintain maintenance tools, stores, and equipment.
Qualifications
* Proven experience within heavy engineering manufacturing environments.
* Flexibility with overtime needs.
* Relevant manufacturing/engineering qualifications.

* A starting salary in the region of £35,000.
