About the Role
We’re looking for an exceptional Category Manager to join our dynamic Buying team. You will take full ownership of your categories, defining strategy, growing sales, and uncovering new opportunities that inspire our customers. Balancing day‑to‑day trading with long‑term vision, you’ll use insights, innovation, and relationships to make a real impact in a fast‑paced and evolving space.
Key Responsibilities
* Own and define the commercial strategy for your categories
* Set clear targets for sales, margin, range, and partner growth
* Spot opportunities using trends, data, and customer insight
* Develop a competitive and inspiring product range
* Launch new products and test formats, price points, and experiences
* Build and grow relationships with both established and emerging partners
* Negotiate pricing, commission, and exclusivity deals
* Lead seasonal trading and campaign planning across key gifting moments
* Use insight to optimise performance and drive conversion
* Coach and support direct reports, and deputise for the Head of Partnerships (Buying) as needed

* Proven background in category management, buying, or commercial partnerships
* Strong commercial mindset and experience delivering growth strategies
* Skilled in negotiation and relationship management
* Data‑savvy with the ability to turn insight into action
* Creative, curious, and passionate about discovering what’s next

* Confident working at pace in an innovative, evolving environment
