The Strategic Partnership Manager will lead the partnership development strategy for the Continence Care business unit, including Amcare, touching upon Acute, Post-Acute, and Community channels to position Convatec as a preferred supplier in each. Youll play a pivotal role in aligning our business strategy with the evolving HSE / NHS landscape and the DHSC MedTech Strategy, developing robust and sustainable commercial partnerships with 3rd parties and NHS payers or providers, including NHSE ICBs and within DHSC, Wholesalers and DACS (Dispensing Appliance Contractors). This is a field-based role with a company car and approximately 70% customer facing. We are recruiting for two territories. Territories: North UKI & South UK ABOUT THE ROLE: • Be a key partner for sales, marketing and clinical teams to enable definition, prioritization, and implementation of long-term market access solutions and related market development roadmaps • Achieve revenue and market share growth • Identify new market segments, channels to market,and business opportunities • Assess competitive landscape, market segment growth potential and co-lead the annual market development strategy in conjunction with the UKI Continence Care Leadership Team. • Cultivate and manage strategic relationships • Develop and execute on value-based partnership proposals to challenge, drive and accelerate Convatec and Amcare portfolio and service adoption through 3rd parties, ICB’s, PCN’s, Acute and Community Care channels. • Collaborate with strategic development teams across businesses to identify strategic partnership opportunities • Complete strategic plans that significantly improves Convatec’s UKI market position in Continence Care • Proactively contribute to the Leadership team via Monthly reporting to shape the future commercial strategy and activities. • Collaborate with Cross Functional Market Access Teams to identify impactful projects for business development • Develop a suite of robust KPI’s which measure contract impact and effectiveness, along with ROI tracking via monthly reporting. • Lead service redesign and pathway development initiatives • Ensure all patient pathways / standards of care have been reviewed • Collaborate with regional Continence Nurse Specialist to maximise market access potential across ICB. • Bring your existing, well established ICB and ICS relationships into the role • Continuing to broaden engagement with new NHS stakeholders to drive long term sustainable development • Leverage ICB, provider and payer partnerships to shape formulary strategy and advance ICB projects • Providing strategic direction by defining objectives, aligning stakeholders, and sustaining project momentum. ABOUT YOU: • Several Years of proven sales experience, ideally within MedTech • 5 years experience in market access / government affairs and public policy, preferably within or allied to Continence Care • Confidence engaging at ICB level & have strong relationships in place • A clear ability to drive new business and strategic NHS conversations • Strong understanding of NHS landscape policy • Experience working with NHS bodies in a payer environment • Strong business acumen, strategic thinking and understanding of sales and marketing business practices • Good financial modelling and forecasting skills • Evidence of developing compelling business cases and methodologies for assessing ROI • Ability to simultaneously manage multiple priorities with a high degree of autonomy • Excellent negotiation and project management skills • Ability to analyse and interpret data for business cases • Proven ability to lead indirect teams through competing business priorities/deadlines • Strong written and verbal communication • Strong interpersonal, inclusive leadership and collaboration skills • Comfortable working in a matrix environment • Demonstrates self-awareness and willingness to learn through stretch opportunities WHAT YOU´LL GET: • remote role based in the UK with a company car • competitive salary & bonus • exceptional benefits • training & delevopment • collaborative & supportive culture
