Principal Cardiac Physiologist/Scientist (CRM & Invasive)
Lead the CRM and Cath lab physiology team, contributing to the leadership of the entire Cardiac Physiology team, working within a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe delivery of cardiology investigations throughout the trust. The role will involve leadership of the service through BSE accreditation, managing a team of physiologists, and contributing to the development of new Cardiac Cath Lab facilities for North and West Hampshire.
Main Duties
* Manage RTT and diagnostic wait targets.
* Lead the service through BSE accreditation.
* Lead a team of physiologists and support service growth.
* Contribute to development of new Cardiac Cath Lab facilities.
* Be part of a friendly, forward‑thinking team.
Person Specification
Qualifications
* Band 7 or above for a minimum of 2 years.
Essential Criteria
* Demonstrates leadership and staff management in current role.
* Qualifications – recognised.
* Worked to deliver BSE accreditation in previous roles.
Desirable Criteria
* Leadership training or qualifications.
* Managed a team for more than 3 years.
* Demand and capacity modelling – maximising productivity.
