Are you a passionate and dynamic History Teacher looking for your next opportunity? We are working with a high-achieving mainstream secondary school in Lambeth that is seeking a dedicated History Teacher to join their team.
The Role:
As a History Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality lessons across KS3 and KS4, with the potential to teach KS5 if desired. You will play a key role in fostering a love for History, encouraging curiosity, and helping students reach their full academic potential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging History lessons tailored to a diverse range of learners.
* Assess, monitor, and support student progress in line with curriculum expectations.
* Implement effective behaviour management strategies to maintain a positive learning environment.
* Work collaboratively within the History department to share best practices and develop the curriculum.
* Contribute to extracurricular activities and wider school initiatives.
The Ideal Candidate:
* Holds UK QTS (or equivalent teaching qualification).
* Has experience teaching History in a UK secondary school setting.
* Demonstrates excellent subject knowledge in History and other humanities subjects.
* Is committed to raising attainment and fostering a positive learning experience for students.
* Has strong classroom management skills and a proactive approach to teaching.
