Key Responsibilities:
As a Sous Chef, you will play a vital leadership role in the kitchen, working closely with the Head Chef to ensure smooth daily operations. Duties include:
* Supporting the Head Chef in all aspects of kitchen management and service
* Leading and mentoring junior kitchen staff to maintain high standards
* Overseeing food preparation and ensuring consistent quality and presentation
* Managing stock levels, ordering supplies, and controlling waste
* Ensuring full compliance with food hygiene, safety, and cleanliness standards
* Assisting in menu development and bringing creativity to seasonal offerings
* Maintaining a calm and focused environment, even during busy service
Experience and Skills Required
* Experienced in high-end or fine dining kitchens
