We're on the lookout for a passionate and talented Sous Chef to join our team at the newly community - owned Swan on the Green.

Responsibilities
Assist the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations and supervising kitchen staff.
Oversee food production and ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
Maintain food safety and hygiene practices in accordance with health regulations.
Participate in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for new dishes.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Ensure that all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and cleaned.
Handle any issues that arise during service, ensuring smooth operations throughout service periods.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant setting.
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
Proficient in various cooking techniques and cuisines, with a passion for culinary arts.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in food preparation and presentation.
A positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to learn and grow within the culinary field.
