Teacher of Geography – Temporary Role – September to December 2025 – Ashford, Kent
Are you a passionate Geography teacher looking for a short-term role in a supportive and thriving school?
We are currently seeking a Teacher of Geography for a temporary position running from September 2025 to December 2025 at a secondary school in Ashford, Kent. The successful candidate will teach Geography at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. If you can teach at A-Level (KS5), that would be a bonus, but it's not essential.
This is a great opportunity for experienced teachers, early career teachers, or even strong unqualified graduates looking to gain classroom experience in a high-performing Humanities department.

* Located in Ashford, with easy access by road and on-site parking
* Supportive Humanities department with 5 teachers and a specialist intervention TA
* Strong curriculum and excellent student engagement in Geography

In order to succeed in this role you will be able to demonstrate:
* Sufficient subject knowledge to teach Geography at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
* Good classroom management rooted in thoughtful lesson planning and delivery
* Effective differentiation techniques to tackle mixed ability classes
* Innovative teaching style utilising a range of tools and media
* Teamwork skills making you a valuable member of the teaching family
