We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Assistant to join our school catering team. This is a fantastic opportunity to support the preparation and serving of nutritious meals to our pupils in a friendly and welcoming environment. The position is for 16 hrs per week, term time only.
Key Responsibilities
1. Assisting with the preparation and serving of school meals
2. Setting up and clearing away the dining area before and after meal service, this does include some heavy lifting of the tables and benches
3. Cleaning duties, including washing up, maintaining hygiene standards and keeping the kitchen and dining areas tidy
4. Supporting the catering team to ensure a smooth and efficient lunchtime service

6. Has good standards of cleanliness and attention to detail
7. Is reliable and able to work in a busy environment
8. Experience is helpful, but full training will be provided
