This role involves a strategic position within our Electricity Transmission business, with overall responsibility for managing our relationship with Ofgem through effective engagement, communication, and reporting.
What you'll be getting up to
* Develop relationships with key Ofgem stakeholders to understand their requirements and priorities.
* Create and implement an engagement and communications strategy, including reporting on progress against Ofgem’s priorities.
* Set and uphold standards for team engagement with Ofgem, including formal submissions, ensuring clarity, transparency, and consistency.
* Contribute to the development of future regulatory frameworks supporting major projects.
* Horizon scan for future regulatory issues and develop mitigation plans, demonstrating proactive management to Ofgem.
* Advise our teams on effective engagement with Ofgem across various disciplines such as regulation, finance, engineering, and project delivery.
* Lead in managing and mitigating key issues and risks across our portfolio of mega-projects, from construction to early development stages.
What's in it for you?
Basic salary ranges from £83,000 to £105,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Key Accountabilities
* Develop and implement stakeholder and risk management plans, ensuring relationships and key actions are maintained and communicated.
* Build and sustain trusted relationships with customers and regulators.
* Manage reporting to the Regulator, influencing decisions and ensuring compliance with network codes and legislative requirements.
About you
- Experience in a commercial role within a regulated industry such as energy, utilities, or infrastructure.
- Project management and delivery experience.
- Experience working with and managing relationships with regulators, preferably Ofgem.
