Friends of the Elderly (FotE) is a not-for-profit charity dedicated to providing excellent care with a family feel. The charity provides care home and day care services for older people, as well as grants for older people in financial difficulty. Kidderminster Day Care in Worcestershire is a specialist dementia support service, run by a dedicated and experienced team of staff that offers personalised care and support. The service is safe, secure and homely and offers a wide range of activities.
Joining our committed team as a Day Care Assistant, you will provide a high standard of holistic care and support for our clients so they can maintain independence, autonomy, choice and lead fulfilled lives.
Responsibilities
* Ensure clients are at the heart of our day care delivery and that their physical, social and wellbeing needs are being met.
* Ensure that we always offer high standards of care.
* Facilitate a client’s choice, dignity and respect.
* Keep our clients safe and secure.
Qualifications
* Experience in working with older people is welcome.
* NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care is desirable but not essential.
* We will provide training to help you excel in this role.
