Be part of the movement – and play your part About the role Working a rotating night‑shift pattern, you will support both the transport and warehouse functions, ensuring smooth overnight operations, accurate administration, and strong communication with drivers, planners, internal teams, and customers. You will be responsible for: Updating systems such as Velocity, MADS, Red Prairie and Excel, managing bookings, and producing next day activity sheets Tracking drivers, planning schedules, briefing/debriefing, and updating customers on progress or delays Completing stock checks, supporting warehouse picking/loading, and maintaining accurate goods‑in/goods‑out records Managing equipment checks, reporting defects, and supporting adherence to maintenance plans Ensuring compliance with RTD, EU Drivers’ Hours, H&S and food hygiene requirements Handling customer and POD queries, managing returns/damages, and supporting stock accuracy Supporting audits, maintaining GDPR‑compliant records, and contributing to process improvements Shift Patterns: Night Shift, 42 hours per week, 18:30–06:30 Week 1: Mon, Tue, Fri, Sat Week 2: Sun, Wed, Thu About you You’ll have strong IT skills and confidence using Microsoft Office, transport systems, and warehouse platforms such as Red Prairie. You’ll bring previous experience in warehousing or transport administration, with the ability to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines. You’ll be comfortable following procedures, demonstrating good attention to detail, and supporting both the warehouse and transport teams overnight. A strong awareness of Health & Safety and a positive, proactive approach will help you succeed in this varied and fast‑paced role.
