Legal Counsel
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Legal Counsel to join an In-House Legal Team, based from their office in Basingstoke, with the flexibility for remote working on a 50% basis. My client is a leading Housing Association, providing quality, affordable homes and services within sustainable, successful communities.
You'll be responsible for your own complex caseload of legal cases, in relation to the set up and disposal of shared ownership and private sales of new build properties on new build development schemes and disposals of other property types.
Your role as Legal Counsel will include:
1. Dealing with the title, planning on all areas of property law relating to new build developments and residential properties
2. Setting up a plot sales scheme
3. Drafting contracts, transfers and shared ownership leases
4. Dealing with the conveyancing process to completion
5. Managing your own caseload of conveyancing transactions
6. Supervising junior members of the team
