Private Client Paralegal – Edinburgh

Typical responsibilities include:
* Joining a team of 8 in a busy department.
* Handling predominantly executory work for high-value clients managing estates over £1,000,000.
* Managing administration of trusts and executries, including high-value taxable estates.
* Assisting with asset protection and capital gains tax mitigation related to trusts and executries.
* Managing guardianship administration.
* Preparing wills and powers of attorney.
* Maintaining regular contact with clients via telephone, email, and correspondence.
* Collaborating effectively with team members, including partners, solicitors, other paralegals, and trust and tax accountants.
* Maintaining excellent financial management of cases.
* Continuously developing expertise and possibly expanding into additional areas of law.
* Adhering to information security policies to protect client and firm data.
What we are looking for:
* At least four years of experience in a comparable environment at an appropriate level.
* Experience handling a caseload independently, particularly with high-value estates.
