Leigh Christou, a respected and growing independent firm of Chartered Accountants with offices in Coventry and Leamington Spa, is looking for a confident and capable Tax Assistant to join their personal tax department.
You’ll be supporting senior members of the team in preparing and reviewing personal tax returns and related computations. This is a hands-on role with exposure to a variety of clients and tax matters, offering real opportunity for development.

Key Responsibilities:
* Preparing and submitting Self-Assessment tax returns
* Calculating Capital Gains Tax
* Assisting with Inheritance Tax and succession planning
* Supporting with trust tax matters
* Preparing P11Ds and calculating benefits in kind
* Undertaking ad hoc personal tax assignments as required

The Person
We’re looking for someone who:
* Is ATT/CTA/ACCA/ACA qualified, part-qualified or QBE (qualified by experience)
* Has experience working in a personal tax role within practice
* Is confident with personal tax compliance
* Has a good understanding of IRIS (desirable)
* Enjoys problem-solving and working with a range of clients
* Can manage their own workload and work well within a team
