Role Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic Sales Assistant to play a vital role in delivering an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. With ample opportunities for career development, JD Group is the place to be if you are motivated by progression and interested in developing your career.
Responsibilities
* Provide a knowledgeable and seamless customer experience for all customers that enter the store.
* Continuously maintain clean and tidy stock standards on the shop floor.
* Collaborate with team members to achieve sales and KPI targets through knowledge of current trends, in‑store promotions and continually evolving store processes.
* Drive sales, ensuring targets are achieved, and where possible exceeded.
* Utilise in‑store devices, offering the customer the whole product range.
* Provide alternatives and add‑on sales at every opportunity.
* Replenish stock levels when needed, ensuring the full‑size range is on the shop floor where possible.
* Ensure that product is priced correctly.
* Deputise for other staff, work within departments, or carry out other duties as required.
* Always represent JD Sports in the most professional manner and conduct work safely and responsibly.
Role Objectives and KPIs
* Provide exceptional service to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
* Actively drive sales to support the store in meeting and exceeding financial goals.
* Ensure timely and accurate replenishment of stock on the shop floor to maintain optimal product availability.
