Production Support Assistant Required
Hours:
* Monday - Thursday: 8:00am - 5:00pm
* Friday: 8:00am - 12:30pm
Pay rate:
* £13.50 per hour, OT rate at 1.5x hourly rate
About the Role
The Best Connection is recruiting a Production Support Assistant to join a well-established and supportive management team within a unique manufacturing business.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys being involved in day-to-day operations and is looking to develop their career towards a future management role. You'll work closely with the Production Manager(s), playing a key part in ensuring manufacturing targets, health & safety standards, and quality requirements are consistently achieved.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide day-to-day support to the Production Management team
* Take a hands-on approach on the shop floor when required
* Organise, update, and maintain training records for production staff
* Assist with stock control to ensure materials are available when needed
* Support and promote site Health, Safety, and Quality compliance
* Accurately complete data entry and reports using Microsoft Office
What We're Looking For
* Able to work confidently and effectively without constant supervision
* Previous experience in a manufacturing environment (desirable but not essential)
* Forklift licence preferred - training can be provided if required
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* A proactive attitude with a genuine interest in career progression
