The Role
We are currently seeking lecturers to teach across undergraduate levels as part of the BA (Hons) Accounting & Finance programme. Flexibility to teach weekdays, evenings, and weekends is required.
Responsibilities
* Plan, deliver, and assess student work, ensuring learning outcomes are met
* Develop, update, and improve course materials
* Employ a variety of learning and teaching methods/materials
* Engage in staff development activities, peer observations, meetings, and administrative duties
* Stay current with developments in the field and student support practices
* Work towards objectives for student attendance, continuation, completion, satisfaction, and progression
About You
* Master's degree in a relevant subject (PhD desirable)
* Previous UK HE lecturing experience in the field
* Demonstrated extensive knowledge of the subject area
* Experience supervising student work and providing support and feedback
* Accurate reporting and maintenance of thorough student records
* Ability to work under pressure, prioritise workload, and meet deadlines
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team‑working skills
* Ability to work with diverse groups of people
Desirable
* Postgraduate Certificate of Academic Practice or equivalent teaching qualification, or commitment to enrol on a teaching programme and complete within three years
* Experience designing/developing academic or professional education programmes
