🎓 Your Role
As a Design and Technology Teacher, you will:

Teach engaging and dynamic Design and Technology lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, inspiring students to explore the world of design and engineering

Develop and deliver creative, hands-on projects that enhance students’ understanding of design processes, materials, manufacturing techniques, and technical drawing
*
Guide students through the entire design journey—from initial ideas to finished products—helping them gain confidence in both technical and creative aspects of the subject
*
Foster a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that promotes experimentation, independent thinking, and collaboration
*
Collaborate with a skilled and supportive team to plan and deliver a rich, challenging curriculum
*
Provide meaningful feedback and assessment to help students track their progress and achieve their goals
*
Contribute to extracurricular activities, such as STEM events, design competitions, and exhibitions
✅ What We’re Looking For
We are looking for an inspiring and creative Design and Technology Teacher who:
*
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with experience teaching DT at secondary school level
*
Has a degree in Design and Technology or a related discipline, with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills and teaching experience
*
Is passionate about engaging students in practical and theoretical aspects of design and engineering
*
Demonstrates excellent communication, organisational, and classroom management skills
*
Is motivated to thrive in an independent school setting, bringing enthusiasm, professionalism, and high expectations to the role
