You will be responsible for reviewing and evaluating the effectiveness of our quality management system and ensuring compliance with contractual requirements, applicable specifications, quality procedures, work instructions, and project or product completion.

The Position Responsibilities of the role: Monitor and update Quality Management System (QMS) documentation as directed Conduct audits and technical investigations, write detailed reports, and provide recommendations Inspect Mechanical parts and hardware to technical drawings and report findings Liaise with Internal departments to draft reports, correspondence, maintain records and files Initiate corrective actions, assess response plans, and conduct follow-up verifications Contribute towards awareness and commitment to the Internal Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental policies with the rest of the team Conduct quality product conformance and verifications, writing reports and initiating appropriate action Facilitate and lead Change Management process Perform audit reviews and updates, by communicating with auditees on status and resolution Process Material Rejections and Non-Conformances and extract computer data for statistical reports Liaise with internal departments and external customers on quality matters, draft reports, and assist in preparing Quality Documentation Participate in and support delivery of Quality and Compliance training programs Additional Information This role will require periodical travel and working away in Copenhagen Denmark, to support our Quality efforts in propulsion hardware development.
Qualifications and Experience Previous experience and certification in Quality Assurance / Quality Control, ideally from an Aerospace, Engineering, Manufacturing, Oil and Gas or Military backgrounds Ability to introduce and implement Quality System Procedures Experience in the application of ISO9001 or AS9100 Quality Management standards Experience in writing detailed and technical reports with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including SharePoint and Visio Desirable experience and traits: Educational background in Mechanical, Structural, Aerospace or other relevant Engineering discipline Experience in Carbon Fibre Composites as Inspector, Technician or Engineer Ability to use Autodesk, AutoCad, Inventor or Solid works Personality Orbex is a high-paced, startup culture where you will be encouraged to take assume responsibility for tasks and see them through.
