Depending on the format, our in-store services include Post Office, Butchery, and Food-to-Go offerings such as hot food, deli, coffee, and bakeries under trusted brands like Barista Bar, Daily Deli, Delish, and Subway. What You'll Do
Our best Store Managers treat their store like it's their own. You'll take pride in delivering an outstanding customer experience, upholding high standards, driving sales, and managing costs. You'll be responsible for meeting store KPIs and achieving ambitious targets, all while building and leading a high-performing team.
From recruitment and training to ongoing development, you'll create a motivated, well-trained team that takes pride in serving their community. Leading by example, you'll inspire your team to deliver excellent service every day. As part of your role, you may also be required to cover the Post Office when needed.
What We're Looking For
We're seeking someone who brings both experience and energy to the role:
* At least 2 years' experience leading and developing a team at a senior level in a fast-paced retail environment (essential)
* A track record of achieving KPIs and effectively managing targets and costs
* Previous store management experience in the convenience market (desirable)
* A customer-first mindset, with passion for local community retailing
* Natural leadership skills with the ability to build, motivate, and inspire a team
* Strong commercial awareness of the food retail sector and how to use that insight to drive sales
* Confidence in using data to make sound business decisions
* Excellent time management, delegation, and problem-solving skills
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Competence in Microsoft Office and retail technology systems
