Overview
The Trauma Resilience Hub is part of the newly commissioned community service for adults who have experienced sexual harm. The Hub will support the voluntary sector in their work with people who have been raped or sexually assaulted, providing case consultation and supervision to colleagues directly delivering therapeutic interventions across Devon and Cornwall. The Specialist Social Worker will work closely with the Clinical Psychologist, advocating on behalf of patients within professional meetings and supporting the development of pathways with secondary mental health providers. The role requires creative approaches to support adults with multiple complexities and to provide specialist advice and guidance to other professionals within the sexual violence and mental health sectors.
Working pattern
Working pattern: 30 hours per week. 4 days a week between Monday - Friday
Key responsibilities
* Support adults who have complex mental health needs following rape and sexual assault as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Provide case consultation and supervision to colleagues delivering therapeutic interventions across Devon and Cornwall.
* Advocate on behalf of patients within professional meetings and help develop pathways with secondary mental health providers.
* Offer specialist advice and guidance to professionals within the sexual violence and mental health sectors.

Pay and benefits
Pay: The salary advertised reflects Agenda for Change 2025/6 rates, inclusive of a 3.6% pay award later this year. If you join before the implementation date, the pay award will be backdated to your start date. Remuneration will be based on the 2024/5 pay bandings (Pay scales for 2024/25 | NHS Employers).
