Team Leader & Lecturer – Progression
Full‑time, permanent position within the Foundation Studies team at Bournemouth Campus.
Responsibilities
* Lead the day‑to‑day delivery of Progression courses (Entry Level to Level 2)
* Inspire and support a team of passionate teaching staff
* Deliver engaging, inclusive lessons that help students succeed
* Play a key role in student recruitment, progress and outcomes
* Support learners with a range of needs, including those facing barriers to education
* Drive a positive, supportive and high‑performing learning environment
About You
* Passionate educator with a track record of delivering high‑quality teaching
* Experience supporting young people, particularly those with additional or pastoral needs
* Confident in leading and motivating others
* Ability to manage behaviour effectively and create a positive learning culture
* Organised, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment
* Committed to inclusion, safeguarding and student success
* Teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one) and relevant subject expertise are essential
