Reporting into the Head of Brand, you will play a pivotal role in driving innovation and bringing new products to market. As Brand Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the end-to-end development process, from idea generation and concept to product launch and post-launch review. This role requires strong project management skills, cross-functional collaboration, and a keen understanding of market trends and consumer needs.
This role requires a dynamic professional who can strengthen our brand identity, oversee marketing campaigns, and drive public relations efforts to enhance visibility and engagement. The Brand Manager will play a key role in shaping our brand strategy and ensuring consistent communication across all channels. You will also support retailer marketing plans and assist with events and branded activities to ensure product messaging resonates across all customer touchpoints.
New Product Development (NPD)
Support project management of NPD projects to ensure delivery on time and within budget:
* Lead and oversee the full lifecycle of NPD projects, from concept to launch and post-launch evaluation.
* Ensure alignment with brand strategy and market trends while managing cost targets and timelines.
* Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate deals, and ensure quality and compliance across territories.
* Drive process efficiency, including project reporting, risk management, and continuous improvement.
* Ensure all NPD projects follow the In-House Project Management System.
* Support the Head of Brand in scoping processes to ensure target COGs are realistic to marketing briefs and product specifications.
* Share weekly project updates, including key CPA timings and progress reports.
* Support the Head of Brand in managing COGs, highlighting tolerances early, and offering creative solutions.
Marketing & PR
* Manage and maintain the marketing calendar and campaigns to drive brand awareness and customer engagement.
* Own and maintain retailer 360 documents for each NPD launch.
* Lead creative copywriting and oversee messaging consistency across all customer touchpoints.
* Drive PR strategy, manage relationships with external agencies, media, and influencers.
* Oversee event planning, sampling programs, press launches, and retail activations.
* Prepare and deliver presentations to stakeholders, including global retail partners.
* Analyze campaign performance and provide insights for ROI optimization.
* Support sales teams with marketing assets, collateral, and training.
* Manage the day-to-day of the PR agency with regular meetings and updates.
* Share weekly business updates and brand communications internally.
Supplier & Budget Management
* Handle queries, quotes, and samples daily.
* Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to achieve best value and target COGs.
* Work with the Head of Brand on budget allocation for cash flow management.
* Maintain supplier relationships through visits and industry events.
* Manage and optimize marketing and PR budgets for maximum impact.
Cross-Functional Collaboration and Stakeholder Management
* Partner with internal teams for cohesive brand storytelling and launch execution.
* Support sales with marketing assets and training.
* Build relationships with external stakeholders and industry partners.
Adherence to Policies and Procedures
* Ensure NPD products are integrated into Demand Plans, Schedules, and MRP systems.
* Support administrative duties to ensure quality, service, and pricing standards.
* Create stock codes, raise POs, and manage bills of materials as needed.
