Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Early Intervention in Psychosis Service (EIP) of Nottinghamshire Healthcare Foundation NHS Trust for a passionate and highly motivated Care Coordinator (Band 6) from either a Mental Health Nursing, Occupational Therapy or Social Work background to join our team.
The EIP service in Nottinghamshire is delivered through a multidisciplinary team of practitioners who provide comprehensive assessments and evidence-based treatments for people aged 14-65 experiencing a First Episode Psychosis (FEP).
The EIP team is a community-based service operating Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for applicants with a keen interest in working with the client group served by EIP and a desire to effectively support their families. Join a dedicated, enthusiastic, and supportive team to support individuals on their recovery journey, holding a caseload and practicing a holistic and person-centred approach to the individuals' needs and goals.
A good understanding of the principles, ethos, assessments, and interventions associated with working within an EIP team will be key. We provide additional training and support to contribute to the delivery of a high-quality NICE concordant service, including Behavioural Family Therapy (BFT).
Additional training will be offered to enable the person to undertake evidence-based interventions, for example, BFT, psychosocial, and CBTp-informed interventions.

Job description
Responsibilities include:
* Managing a caseload of service users experiencing their first episode of psychosis.
* Assessing referred service users to the EIP team.
* Participating in clinical decision-making within an integrated MDT.
* Using outcome measures like HoNOS, QPR, and DIALOG to monitor recovery.
* Traveling across Nottinghamshire to support service users, families, and carers.
* Using digital technologies to support service delivery.
Requirements:
A full UK driving license and vehicle for business use are required; reasonable adjustments will be made for disabled individuals per the Equality Act 2010.
Applicants will need to pay for their DBS check, with costs deducted from salary over the first two months. Enrolment in the DBS Update Service is encouraged, with an annual fee of £16.
