Human Appeal is a faith-based charity that aims to abolish poverty by providing humanitarian aid, sustainable development programs and championing advocacy for our beneficiaries worldwide. We are currently looking for outgoing individuals with great communication and people skills to join Human Appeal as Donor Care Advisors, where the successful candidates will provide customer support to Human Appeal’s donors as well as generating vital income for the charity’s projects worldwide! The Job: · Engaging with Human Appeal donors · Handling customer inquiries via telephone and email in a warm and courteous manner · Maintaining call centre database by entering or updating information accurately · Generating funding for Human Appeal through telephone donations · Chasing pledges made by our donors during events · Generating tickets sales for fundraising events · Attending and helping out during Live TV and Radio Appeals · Ensuring customer satisfaction levels are met · Maximising donor retention The Hours: This is a FLEXIBLE, PART-TIME ROLE so would ideally suit University and College students looking to earn and gain experience around their studies! Shift Patterns available are: · 4pm - 8pm weekdays · 12pm - 6pm weekends · Extra hours available during the week. Our one-to-one sponsorship programme has a built-in school attendance requirement while covering the cost of food, housing, medical care, and learning materials. Pioneering technologically innovative infrastructure projects in Pakistan, like designing and building a 25-km embankment on the Chenab River in Pakistan. Protecting an entire community from being washed away, the embankment has held back the floods each year, including Pakistan’s worst flooding in a decade during its last monsoon season. Protecting the health of mothers and their children in war-torn Syria by running the only free maternity hospital in Idlib, Syria. By offering free medical care to vulnerable mothers and children, our staff at Al Imaan Hospital providing life-saving care to 100,000 patients every year. Quenching the thirst for the 2 million residents of the Gaza Strip by working with UNOCHA to purify Gaza’s water network. And now, our newest project involves building a large-scale desalination plant to provide daily access to clean water for 60,000 people across Gaza.
