Role Function
The Continuous Improvement Engineer will play a key role in improving and maintaining manufacturing processes, making them safer, more efficient, and consistent. Responsibilities include rolling out new systems, supporting product launches, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Candidate Requirements
* Proven experience in a Continuous Improvement Engineer role or similar
* Experience in pressing, sheet metal, or fabrication environments is advantageous
* Engineering degree or equivalent experience
* Can-do attitude, flexibility, and adaptability
* Solid understanding of Lean tools and ISO 9001 standards
* Proficient in CAD and reading technical drawings
* Strong planning, problem-solving, and communication skills
* Self-motivated, organized, capable of managing multiple projects
Responsibilities
* Maintain and improve safe, efficient production processes
* Identify and reduce workplace risks, supporting health & safety culture
* Lead and support improvement projects to reduce waste, increase output, and enhance delivery
* Apply lean tools to solve problems and increase efficiency
* Create layouts, workflows, and SOPs
* Support process and design changes
* Assist in bringing new products into production
* Enhance quality control and process consistency
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams
