Production Planner
Location: Telford
Salary: Up to circa £30k per annum
Benefits: Enhanced annual leave
Hours: 37.5 hours Monday – Friday (onsite)

As their Production Planner, you will be part of a busy, yet efficient team that ensures all resources across this flagship manufacturing site are optimised, ensuring materials and resources are where they need to be, precisely when they need to be there.
You’ll have a brilliant department leader who knows the company and its processes inside and out – allowing them to provide the best guidance and support to complement your existing knowledge.
As the Production Planner you will be getting involved in:
* Checking and creating schedules and making sure capacity can meet demand and forecasts are reflective of any changes in demand
* Monitoring production progress, and amending the schedules if needed
* Working very closely with the production teams and contributing to production meetings
* SKU Lifecycles - making sure they are managed (think new products in, old products out)
* Supplier performance through working with the purchasing team and communicating any issues regarding supplier delivery, performance or quality.

What experience will you need?
You will already have experience within the manufacturing sector, ideally having held roles such as Production planner / manufacturing planner / Production Controller / Production Scheduler / materials controller / supply planner type roles
As you will have some base experience in planning, you will be competent in using MS Excel and ideally have worked with MRP/ERP software (but this isn’t a deal-breaker)
