Overview
My client is looking for a Criminology Teacher to work at an Establishment around the Luton area. This is a Part-time Temporary role to start ASAP on an ongoing basis, and it will be teaching the Level 3 classes for 3 days per week (Tuesday-Thursday).
If you are a teacher with dynamic qualities who has a proven record of raising pupil attainment, are able to motivate, inspire and support pupils of all abilities, are keen to further develop your own practice and to work in a team, then we would like to hear from you.
Responsibilities
* Ability to teach the full range of timetabled courses in the subject area
* Experience in the subject area, and of planning and assessment of pupil learning
* A knowledge of current issues and developments in curriculum Experience of curriculum development
* Ability to communicate effectively and appropriately with staff, pupils and parents
* Ability to effectively manage the learning and teaching of individual pupils, groups and classes
* Ability to prioritise the work of the subject department Proven organisational skills
* Ability to use appropriate interpersonal skills when relating to staff, pupils and parents
Qualifications
* Recent experience teaching Criminology to students aged 16+
* A Relevant Teaching Qualification
* Experience of teaching the Level 3 Applied classes
* Hold a current Enhanced DBS
* Be available to start ASAP
