Overview
Area Sales Manager sought for a successful international manufacturer of materials handling machinery. Based from home, covering the North West and Midlands (North West and Yorkshire in the original listing). The role is autonomous; you will manage your own diary and be responsible for attaining agreed sales targets by selling equipment and services to existing and potential customers. You will attend meetings with sales management and the director to discuss performance and strategy to maximise results.
Responsibilities
* Attain agreed sales targets by selling equipment and services to existing and potential customers
* Attend face-to-face meetings
* Manage product/service mix, pricing and margins
* Develop and maintain customer relationships and follow up after delivery of equipment
* Follow the sales strategy to maximise performance
Requirements
* An experienced sales professional from a face-to-face B2B capacity
* Knowledge of machinery/mobile plant/materials handling equipment is advantageous, but all sales backgrounds will be considered
* Highly motivated with a professional, relationship-building sales approach
Benefits
* Base salary GBP 40,000 – GBP 45,000
* Highly competitive commission structure (OTE GBP 65,000 – GBP 90,000)
