We’re currently recruiting for a Scientific Assistant to the Process Development team. In this role, you will provide essential laboratory activities and services to the team, playing a key part in advancing our mission and making a real difference.


Your responsibilities in this role would be:

* Preparing equipment for processing, including bioreactors, pH/DO probes, incubators, purification systems.
* Receiving deliveries, restocking & stock checking of consumables.
* Carrying out in‑house preparation of tubing and connectors for processing.
* Cleaning and maintaining laboratory equipment and facilities.
* Raising engineering requests and chaperone engineers whilst in the Laboratories.
* Cell seeding and cell count activities for analytical assays.
* Assisting in maintaining health and safety compliance as applicable.


We are looking for:

* Minimum GCSE or equivalent education.
* A genuine interest and drive to work in science.
* Capability to think rationally and problem‑solve.
* Good interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
* Highly organised, motivated with excellent attention to detail.
* Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
