VolkerWessels UK is seeking a Treasury Cashier to join our Treasury team in Hoddesdon on a 14 month fixed-term contract, covering maternity leave.
This role plays a key part in ensuring the continued delivery of high-quality cashiering and treasury management services across our businesses and the wider UK Group.
You will support the management of multiple bank accounts and cashbooks, process internal and external payments, and contribute to timely and accurate Treasury reporting. Working closely with senior team members, you'll gain valuable exposure to a broad range of treasury activities and develop your understanding of the function.
About our role
1. Daily monitoring of bank accounts and execution of inter-company transfers to optimise liquidity
2. Processing regular and urgent external payments, including Bacstel-IP and online banking
3. Executing FX trades and settlements
4. Posting and allocating daily cashbook and sales ledger transactions
5. Preparing Treasury positions, reports, and analysis, including reviewing bank reconciliations and unallocated cash
