What the Job Involves This role requires managing complex cases, conducting assessments, care planning, and leading interventions for children in need, those being looked after, or requiring protection. You will serve as a practice leader, promoting and modeling the Signs of Safety culture, supervising and mentoring other staff, and occasionally working out of hours. You will oversee and support a team, ensuring high standards in child welfare through training, performance management, and representing the service in multi-agency forums. You will conduct supervision meetings, manage caseloads, provide consultation on practice issues, and maintain compliance with legislation and policies.
