Job Description
Our client are a specialist Electrical Engineering company who are providing top-tier solutions to the Water Treatment and Sewage Sector.
They are currently looking for Electricians ideally with experience in the water industry and have a current ComPex certificate. The work they carryout includes power, control, and instrumentation so if you have this experience but not in water, they would love to hear from you due to the nature of their work, they will also consider you if you have experience working within a time critical/process background.
The role will be field based, across the Thames Valley as well as Swindon and Oxford.
Job Responsibilities
* Planning: Laying out electrical wiring
* Installing: Installing electrical systems, wiring, fixtures, conduits, and pipes
* Maintaining: Performing general electrical maintenance, preventative maintenance, and routine inspections
* Repairing: Repairing or replacing wiring, equipment, or fixtures
* Diagnosing: Identifying electrical problems using testing devices and troubleshooting issues
* Testing: Testing electrical systems and components to ensure proper functioning
* Documenting: Completing required documentation of repairs and service information
* Following regulations: Following state and local building regulations based on the National Electrical Code (NEC) and other relevant legislation
* Working with others: Collaborating with architects, contractors, clients, and other technicians and engineers.
Experience Required
* Experience of working with Petro Chemical, Water Treatment and Sewage Sector (advantageous)
* ComPex Certified
* Clean Driving Licence
* 18th Edition
* JIB Gold Card
* ECS/CSCS
The role comes with a fantastic salary and benefits package, as well as fully expensed company van and overtime if wanted. Contracted hours are 40 hours a week.
