Responsibilities:
* Accounts receivable – raising sales invoices, credit notes, monthly statements & allocating payments
* Accounts payable – processing supplier invoices, reconciling statements
* Processing supplier payments
* Processing bank receipts & payments from the bank statement daily
* Reconciliation of shop takings from multiple locations
* Credit control
* Bank reconciliation
* Credit card and petty cash reconciliation
* Processing monthly payroll information
* Submitting quarterly VAT returns
* Cashflow forecasting
* Preparing monthly management information reports
* Liaising with colleagues in all departments
Experience:
* Previous hands-on experience in an accounting role
* Accountancy qualification or qualified by experience
* Proficient in SAGE accounting, MS Word and Excel
* Ability to prioritise a busy workload
* Familiarity with financial reporting and forecasting
* Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
* Excellent organizational, interpersonal and time management skills
The successful candidate will work at head office alongside experienced colleagues in administration departments.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £15,600.00 per year
