GSL Education are recruiting a dedicated SEN Teacher to support a specialist setting in the S25 area of Dinnington. This role is ideal for someone who can provide tailored teaching, adapt quickly to individual needs, and create a supportive learning environment. As an SEN Teacher, you will work closely with pupils who require personalised support due to a range of learning, behavioural, or communication needs. You will plan and deliver structured lessons that focus on progress, confidence, and independence. Key Responsibilities: Deliver adapted lessons that meet the individual needs of pupils with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities). Use targeted strategies to support communication, social development, and academic growth. Work collaboratively with support staff to ensure consistent, effective provision. Implement behaviour support plans and encourage positive learning habits. Maintain detailed records of pupil progress and provide clear feedback. Build strong, trusting relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification. Experience working as an SEN Teacher or supporting children with SEND needs. Strong communication skills and the ability to work calmly under pressure. Confidence in adapting planning, resources, and approaches for diverse learners. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
