Service Advisor Location: Reading Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum (DOE) Hours: Monday-Friday 08:00-16:30 1 in 4 Saturdays (08:00-13:00) Overview ISQ Recruitment are seeking a confident and customer‑focused Service Advisor to join a busy aftersales operation in Reading. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys dealing with customers, and can coordinate workshop activity with accuracy and professionalism. You'll be the key link between customers and the technical team, ensuring every visitor receives an exceptional experience—from initial booking to vehicle collection. What You'll Be Doing Greeting customers and ensuring they receive a high standard of service. Scheduling workshop bookings and managing daily workload capacity. Keeping customers informed on progress, repair times, costs and any additional work needed. Preparing job cards, estimates, invoices and warranty documentation. Ensuring all jobs are logged accurately as retail, warranty, internal or non‑chargeable. Liaising with the parts department to confirm availability and lead times. Proactively identifying opportunities to promote additional service products. Maintaining accurate workshop loading and service schedules. Required Skills & Experience Strong communication skills and the ability to keep customers and technicians updated. Experience within an automotive service or customer service environment. Confident using computer systems and managing booking workflows. Organised, efficient and able to work under pressure. Always professional, customer‑focused, and driven to deliver quality service. Kerridge experience is advantageous but not essential.
