Assistant Shop Manager
Location: 2a High St, Alcester, B49 5AD
Hours: 28 per week
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £23,391 per annum based on 35 hours per week
Are you a retail expert passionate about making a meaningful difference? We need a dynamic Assistant Shop Manager to join our friendly charity shop team. This opportunity will enable you to sharpen your retail skills while supporting the lives of people in your community, across the UK, and abroad.

What does a day in the life of an Assistant Shop Manager involve?
Responsibilities
* Collaborate with the shop manager to run a profitable, customer-focused shop that is the “window of the British Red Cross” on the high street.
* Work on the shop floor and coordinate activity behind the scenes; no two days are the same.
* Foster a brilliant shopping environment and provide an excellent customer experience in store.
* Oversee a team of volunteers, delivering induction, management, and development in collaboration with the shop manager.
Qualifications & Skills
* Experience in a shop environment; ability to be a retail superstar with the know-how to support daily operations.
* People-person with enthusiasm for providing an excellent customer experience, supporting a team, and engaging with people from all walks of life.
* Commercially savvy with a good understanding of financial targets and measures; proficient IT skills.
* Flexible working approach to meet the needs of the store.
