As the Service Dispatch Operative, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and customers entering the service area. You will handle in-person enquiries, manage incoming and outgoing customer units, and support service technicians. This customer-facing role combines administrative duties with coordination responsibilities to ensure the smooth operation of daily service activities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Receives and books-in goods ensuring they have arrived with corresponding serial numbers and correct quantities.
* Dispatches goods from corresponding delivery note in an accurate manner.
* Locates goods in an accurate manner in accordance with the specified default locations.
* Ensures that the correct level of materials is available for packing equipment.
* Clean units awaiting servicing
* Other such additional or alternative tasks that may from time to time be reasonably required .
* Ability to support the Operations department with other functions as they arrive
Experience, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education
* Previous experience in a material control, dispatch, or customer-facing role.
* Familiarity with managing incoming and outgoing equipment, stores stock.
* Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively
* Basic administrative experience.
* Experience working in a fast-paced environment, maintaining professionalism under pressure.
* Experience using IFS system (would be an advantage)
* Factory environment, Monday – Friday (Bristol)
* Working Hours
o 8am to 4pm Mon – Thursday
o 8am to 3.30pm Fridays
* The position may require working occasionally outside normal work hours
