Aufgaben
1. Encourage and develop a culture of commercial awareness within the team.
2. Ensure the site team adheres to group procedures and governanceDevelopment, motivation & performance management of junior staff
3. Delegation of appropriate work to junior staff, whilst maintaining accountability
4. Commercial Service Delivery
5. Preparation of internal commercial reporting and any other reports which may be required.
6. Preparation of Valuations/Application for payment with full supporting documentation in accordance with thecontract.
7. Preparation of Cost Reports to the Client with contractually compliant supporting documentation.
8. Preparation and management of subcontract and material procurement schedules.
9. Administration of subcontractor/supplier accounts from the preparation of detailed requisitions, monitoring and authorisation of subcontract payments through to agreement of final accounts.
10. Undertake the contract administration, including change management and maintain associated registers.
11. Identifying commercial risks, opportunities, value engineering and change.
12. Challenge & manage in cost control / cost mitigation.
13. Ensure the correct site records are maintained.
14. Implement a WBS structure to satisfy the Client & Contract requirements.
15. Have an up-to-date Cost to Complete and Risk analysis Register for the projects(s).
16. Preparation, negotiation and agreement of change events, extension of time claims, final accounts etc.
17. Measurement of quantities in accordance with the standard methods of measurement as required.
18. Ensure appropriate Client Management is initiated and maintained.
19. Drafting of complex subcontract arrangement including professional services & appropriate terms ofengagement.
20. Identification and advice upon of insurance related issues, including PI.
21. Maximising of cash position, including WIP control, cash flow production & improvement plans.
22. Maintain / assist in the production of the margin improvement plan on the project.
23. Assist in work winning duties as required, including technical writing for PQQ responses.
24. Undertake any other work as required of you by your line manager
25. Attend client engagement events for equivalent level customer feedback.
26. Involvement in Business Improvement Initiatives.
Qualifikationen
27. Degree qualified, A levels & HNC (construction Chartered Quantity Surveyor Status (member) related)
28. Registered with RICS / ICES and working towards Chartership
29. CSCS Card (relevant type) All roles are expected to have the relevant competency skills cardswhere site-based work is required
30. Commercially astute. Excellent knowledge of Standard Forms of Contract and Standard Methods of Measurement.
31. Computer literate with strong skills in Microsoft Office Applications (Word/Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint)
32. Good communication skills including presentations and ability to negotiate and persuade others.
33. Programming techniques, project controls, risk analysis, contract admin, procurement, cost, claims.
