In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of joinery duties, delivering high-quality workmanship across varied projects within a fast-paced working environment. About this role:
1. £15.25 per hour (with review after 6-month period)
2. Monday to Friday (7.30am - 4.30pm)
3. Company van and fuel card provided
4. Temporary to permanent role (initial 6-month period with transfer after 6 months)
What you'll be doing in this role:
5. Carry out joinery and general construction works on both void and tenanted properties
6. Complete works including kerbing, flagging, fencing, blockwork and concreting to a high standard
7. Work as part of a team to deliver a professional, courteous and considerate service to clients and tenants
8. Move, install, secure and handle materials safely, including loading and unloading as required
9. Operate a range of hand tools, power tools and equipment appropriate to the task and site
10. Ensure all work areas are left clean, tidy and safe at the end of each day
11. Work under instruction to meet client requirements and project specifications
12. Follow all health and safety procedures and ensure correct use of PPE at all times
13. Complete and submit accurate site records and documentation, both electronic and paper-based, in line with contract requirements
What you'll need for this role:
14. Time served or appropriately qualified with relevant experience
15. Proven experience in 1st and 2nd fix joinery
16. Strong background in minor building and maintenance joinery services
17. Full driving licence
18. Valid CSR Card
19. Available for out-of-hours callouts on a rotational basis (every 6–8 weeks)
20. Access NI Disclosure Check will be required for this position. A criminal record will not necessarily be a barrier to employment.
