Role Overview:
Are you a dedicated and compassionate support worker passionate about making a positive impact on vulnerable individuals? Our client provides high-quality care to children and young people with challenging behaviors, ADHD, or coming from traumatic backgrounds. As a Support Worker, you will support their daily needs, manage behaviors, develop self-esteem, and ensure safety.
Responsibilities include:
* Supporting children and young people's bedtime routines during night shifts
* Effective communication with team and young people
* Supporting with personal care and promoting independence
* Following risk assessments and management procedures
* Reporting to management
* Understanding individual needs
* Carrying out domestic duties
* Consulting with children, young people, and families
Requirements:
* Helping vulnerable individuals engage in activities
* Good written and verbal English skills
* Willingness to undertake further training
* Genuine desire to help with a compassionate nature
* Level 3 Diploma in Residential Child Care or willing to work towards it
* Minimum 6 months experience in a children's residential setting
* UK driving license and own car
