The Role
They are looking for a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to join their Glasgow team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in delivering complex and varied structural projects, using their expertise and experience to lead designs, mentor junior team members, and ensure the highest technical standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the design, analysis, and assessment of structural engineering projects across various sectors.
* Use Tekla software to produce accurate and detailed structural models and drawings.
* Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.
* Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
* Prepare and review technical reports, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
* Manage project deliverables, budgets, and timelines effectively.
What We’re Looking For:
* Qualifications: Chartered or near-chartered status with a degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
* Experience: Proven track record in structural engineering, with significant project experience across commercial, industrial, or residential sectors.
* Technical Skills: Proficiency in Tekla software is essential, along with strong knowledge of structural analysis and design tools.
* Soft Skills: Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
