Job description
Our client, a leading company in the manufacturing sector, is currently seeking a Production Assembler to join their team in Chandler's Ford, Eastleigh. This permanent role operates Monday to Friday from 6am to 2pm.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Constructing control panels, fan assemblies, and associated components accurately within set times
2. Inspecting completed panels to ensure conformance with design and equipment specifications, and compliance with operational and safety standards
3. Utilising appropriate tools and equipment in line with company safety standards, departmental procedures, and guidelines
4. Maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe workspace within the department
5. Recording stages of production and time taken on the relevant forms and Microsoft AX
6. Documenting any changes or deviations from work instructions during construction, with changes agreed by the Controls Manager or Team Leader
7. Undertaking any reasonable tasks requested by the Controls Manager or Team Leader, including off-site work and aiding other departments
Job Requirements:
8. Experience with wiring, assembly, and electrical tasks
9. Ability to demonstrate accuracy and meet production targets
10. Good numeracy and literacy skills
11. Physical stamina for standing over prolonged periods and manual handling
12. Proficiency in using display screens
13. Knowledge of standard operating procedures and instructions
Desirable Skills:
14. Basic understanding of electrical wiring
15. Proven knowledge of building control panels
16. Experience in a manufacturing environment
17. Knowledge of electrical components and proficiency in using tools such as crimping, cutting, and drilling equipment
Hours:
6am - 2pm (Monday to Friday)

Pay:
£12.21 - £12.50 per hour (DoE)
