The Opportunity: Financial Accountant Team Leader

The Impact you will have:
* Manage a team of two people and conduct performance reviews in line with company requirements.
* Handle accounting for the parts and engineering side of the business, including inventory, work in progress, revenues, and costs.
* Manage daily cash balances to ensure sufficient funds to cover the group's commitments.
* Complete all Irish entity drawdowns for Southern Ireland.
* Review and manage Irish entities' cashflow forecasts, including capex forecasts, HP forecasts, and daybook uploads.
* Consolidate all entities' cashflows into a group file to determine overall group headroom position with Wells Fargo, ensuring compliance with ABL agreement covenants.
* Perform weekly availability/loan reconciliations between Wells Fargo reports and cashflow, and daily reconciliations of the group ABL loan and collateral ledger.
* Complete the monthly Irish Borrowing Base Certificate for Wells Fargo.
* Onboard new entities into the Southern Irish online banking facility and assist with onboarding onto the ABL agreement with Wells Fargo.
* Manage foreign currency requirements for Ireland.
* Perform monthly ABL reconciliations to the general ledger and post amortisation of fees.
* Prepare monthly group funding committee reports and assist at meetings.
* Lead external quarterly banking audits with Wells Fargo.
* Forecast future cash requirements, receipts, invoicing, and current headroom for Ireland and assist with England and Wales.
* Perform monthly reconciliations for England and Wales third-party/finance agreements and Group HP schedule, ensuring compliance with ABL covenants.
* Reconcile monthly interest accruals.
* Administer Southern Ireland’s online banking across the Group and support UK online banking administration.
* Provide treasury support for Ireland and cover UK Group Treasury activities such as daybook uploads, drawdowns, and cashflow forecasts.
* Perform other ad-hoc general ledger and treasury duties as required.
What will help you to excel in this role:
* Qualified Accountant - CIMA/ACCA qualification.
* Substantial financial accounting experience up to trial balance and management accounts level.
* Significant treasury experience.
* Advanced Excel skills.
* Strong understanding of accounting principles and processes.
* Experience working in a busy/pressured finance environment.
* Diligent, accurate, with high attention to detail.
* Analytical, commercial, methodical, and flexible approach to work.
