The role…Exciting new opportunity for an enthusiastic and customer-focused individual, with a passion for homeware and interiors, to join the Soho Home retail team. There is a part-time sales position available in our Soho Home studio, inside the Miami Beach House. As a member of the team, you will be committed to providing professional customer service and outstanding product knowledge, while maintaining showroom standards & supporting our Interior Designer & Trade Consultant with appointments & general duties.
Main Duties
1. Provide outstanding service that creates a positive experience for the customer and generates brand loyalty.
2. Ensure guests are greeted and cared for when browsing or purchasing products from the studio.
3. Provide detailed information about products and services offered throughout the store and online, as required.
4. Offer alternative options when products are not available.
5. Handle questions and concerns in a professional manner.
6. Process purchases/returns via the point of sale and ordering system, and look up past orders and tracking for clarity and updates.
7. Understand the business to drive sales and maximize product potential in the retail space.
8. Maintain fully stocked shop displays & back of house, and ensure high standards of cleanliness within the studio.
9. Unbox inventory upon arrival and execute monthly inventory checks for accuracy.
10. Ensure the studio has sufficient supplies at all times (e.g., stationary, light bulbs).
11. Support the Interior Design & Trade Consultant in preparing for meetings.
12. Provide weekly image updates to the UK-based VM lead to maintain studio standards.
13. Monitor product sales to improve revenue and provide feedback to leadership.
14. Source products from the back of house as required.
15. Meet daily/weekly sales targets and report to leadership and finance teams.

* Proven experience in a similar luxury retail role.
* High level of customer service skills.
* Honest, open, and constructive communication.
* Creative flair with confidence in discussing colors, styles, and design trends.
* Flexibility and innovation to adapt to the changing retail landscape.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Experience with furniture and lighting preferred; POS experience is a plus.
Physical Requirements
* Ability to grasp, turn, and hold objects with hands.
* Ability to stand for at least 8 hours.
* Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
* Occasional kneeling, bending, crouching, and climbing.
