The Opportunity
We are looking for a People & Organisations Associate to join our leadership team based in Manchester. The role involves leading and managing the delivery of a range of client projects across technical areas such as team effectiveness & collaboration, leadership & capability, culture & organisational change, and operating model & organisation development.
Responsibilities include:
* Lead a discipline or team within the People and Change technical area, setting client goals, progress and direction.
* Manage team performance and growth, ensuring clear expectations and providing development opportunities.
* Act as a role model, fostering a climate of trust, openness and recognition.
* Build the People and Change community by developing training programmes and supporting recruitment.
* Drive business growth by seeking new opportunities and expanding client portfolios.
* Oversee project delivery to achieve commercial success and compliance with agreed metrics.
* Build and nurture senior client relationships, aligning on goals and developing tailored communication plans.
* Lead organisational diagnostics workshops and deliver insights on organisational behaviour and cultural landscapes.
Qualifications
* Degree or extensive experience in people and change consulting.
* Chartered Member of a relevant institute (e.g., BPS, CIPD).
* Experience in at least two of the following areas: team effectiveness & collaboration, leadership & capability, culture & organisational change, operating model & organisation development.
* Strong commercial acumen, project management and financial risk management skills.
* Ability to develop business proposals and collaborate across a multi‑disciplinary firm.
* A methodical yet creative decision‑making style and a collaborative working approach that encourages innovation.
* Experience in organisational readiness (research, job analysis, training design and delivery, project management) is desirable.
* Experience in manufacturing, rail, highways, energy, aviation or water markets desirable.
