Overview: Superb opportunity for a New Business Development Director to join a truly global agency delivering cutting-edge experiences, events, and exhibitions for high-profile clients.
The Agency: This full-service events and communications agency works with well-known global brands, mainly in healthcare and pharma, to deliver a range of complex events worldwide, from large congresses to meetings for hundreds of delegates. They are expanding and seeking a director to support growth.
The Role: Responsible for identifying and nurturing new business opportunities, driving revenue, and enhancing the agency's global brand presence. This includes lead generation, prospecting, qualifying opportunities, client presentations, responding to RFPs, leading pitches, and securing contracts. The role involves collaboration with internal and external stakeholders and may include travel to events.
Candidate Profile: Proven experience in new business development within events, exhibitions, or production industries. Knowledge of pharmaceutical or Life Sciences sectors is advantageous but not essential. Demonstrated ability to manage the full sales cycle, network at industry events, and secure new business for an agency.
