ROLE: Architectural Technologist
LOCATION: Manchester City Centre
SALARY: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum plus excellent benefits package
A highly regarded, design-led consultancy specialising in learning and educational environments is seeking an Architectural Technologist to join its growing Manchester team.
For over 16 years, this practice has delivered more than 1,000 education projects worldwide. With a team of 40+ specialist designers, strategists, technologists, procurement and delivery professionals. Based in the heart of Manchester's, the team works collaboratively in a vibrant, studio environment.

THE ROLE
The Architectural Technologist (Interior Technologist) plays a vital role within the project team, producing detailed technical outputs and coordinating BIM models to ensure high-quality project delivery.
You will be responsible for preparing accurate drawing packages including 1:50 layouts, GAs, PDSs and model exports. The role focuses on maintaining and coordinating Revit models, producing precise technical documentation and supporting space planning activities.
As your experience develops, you will take increasing ownership of layouts, coordination and technical decision-making across projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Produce accurate GA drawings, 1:50 layouts and technical drawing outputs under supervision
• Support the setup and management of Revit models in line with company naming conventions and standards
• Assist with BIM coordination and model exports
• Support space planning by inputting layouts and adjusting room configurations
• Populate Revit models from sketches, ADSs or specifications
• Create sheets, schedules and documentation to project standards
• Collaborate with designers, project leads and technical colleagues to support smooth delivery

THE PERSON
Suitable candidates should be able to demonstrate:
• Well organised approach to work with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Detail-focused and technically precise
• Self-motivated with strong ownership of tasks
• Confident communicator, comfortable liaising with both internal teams and external consultants
• Collaborative and team-oriented while capable of working independently
• Process-driven with an understanding of regulatory requirements
• Strong Revit skills (essential), any knowledge of other design packages including Navisworks, and Solibri would be an advantage
• Experience within education, commercial interiors or large-scale public sector environments would be advantageous.
